HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?!
edit
Oh, it’s health agency prevention/responding information. Very boring. Wont help on our ward because our windows don’t open. And you wonder why people throw chairs out the window on hot days…
You’ve got to be fucking kidding me. Someone has been paid to creat a plan which should if all logic allows equate to.
1) Drink water, avoid too much alcohol
2) Stay in the shade where possible, particularly during the hottest points of the day
3) Wear a hat
4) Don’t walk around like a prick wearing your t-shirt like a turban, just because it’s in the high teen’s, doesn’t mean you’ll die because you have a t shirt on.
(it was free. I’m not depressed)
But in the first chapter I’ve got annoyed at the american language and the steryotypes that it’s put in (ie. Manic people have increased sexual apeitite, yes, but that doesn’t mean everyone who presents as manic is a sex feind!) however one thing I do agree with is that people (often GP’s) feel that anti-depressants on their own will cure depression, so when the person is happy again you can stop the anti-depressant. Without looking at the real cause of the depression… Well it’s mentioned on thing I can agree with.
Yesterday I was fed up with things at work, we’re bombarded with change and get minimal interaction with the patients we’re there to help.
But I managed to get an hour to help someone so affected by the negative symptoms of schizophrenia that they need help with all aspects of daily care and following a hard word from the night staff he requested help attending to his care in the morning, since he really needed it, I helped.
I had basically spent half an hour trying to help him shave his beard off, the guy is usually clean shaven but had let his beard grow thick because he basically didn’t care any more and all we had was those cheap 50 razors for a pound things to use. So I armed my self with dozens of the things and went about trying to shave.
When I finally got one cheek smooth and decided I wouldn’t be able to do the full thing. So I said to him. “I’m really sorry, but I’m going to have to leave you with a goatee” he looked up at me shocked, laughed and replied “I understand” with a grin on his face. I went about trying to finish the job, smiling my self
That was the first time he had laughed in about a month. The first smile we’d actually seen from him.
That’s why I chose nursing. Not for paper work, but to help people do basic human things.
Okay it was only 45 miles compared to the 53 we did yesterday, but to say I started out sore and rode better, makes me happy :)
Click the link if you wanna see how stupid my training is :p
Not the best ride we’ve done, with having a class 2 hill (On a scale on Tour De France, that makes it a interesting one for their riders) and battling head winds and side winds for most the journey making it hard to cover any distance it makes the 12 mph average understandable
Hope the link worked anyway… Chuffed with the stupid climb half way through. Didn’t even stop :)
Oh, at the bottom of the graph press the words to make it less busy and you can actually see individual peices of information
This happened to me too :’(rip pirate bay :”(
GOD DAMN YOU BRANSON!!!
Haha I can still access it… Well it would be hypocritical for the Murdoch’s to deny access
Win.
…completely lose my respect.
And most have the most uninteresting lives/imagination

But I want my new bike computer! Bring the fun back into training again…
That’s the problem I get, I regain my fitness and then I get bored and get lazy again because I struggle to find challenging routes again
Hoping this one will help me improve my fitness though…
(I did just spend £200 on a bike gps so it better!)
So gonna have half a lazy day
was going to go on my bike but cba with snow and my neck really hurts for some reason
Nuff Sed
Right, how is this job climate so bad that people can’t get jobs?
Since I was 17 I haven’t been out of work, haven’t been in the job I would like to be in for the most of it, but still I’ve been in work.
Yesterday my friend was made redundent, he hasn’t been out of work since he was 14 (We’re both 22). As soon as he was told he went round every client and let them know that he was leaving the company and would they let him know if any jobs where going. Today he got a phone call saying that if he went self-employed he could get 4 and a half days a week from them. They just don’t want to pay his holidays.
He starts his new job on Monday.
Explain?
